Lately, I’ve been watching many videos on being an slow and intentionally living. Helena Woods is a great person to follow is that is something up your ally.
One of the beautiful things about social media is to find out that you are not alone. I remember when The Minimalists documentary came out and was thought to myself “wow, there are others out there like me and I’m actually not THAT weird.”Being weird is all personal perspective.
I’ve been working more on slowing down and being even more intentional with my time, especially now that I have the kiddos more.I find myself spending more time in nature whenever I have free time (and now that they weather is above 50 degrees daily).I try to go for a 30 minute walk at least twice a week.
I find that it helps me to decompress from a busy week.
Since having the kids more and shuffling back and forth more between work and various activities, it’s been a bit stressful finding the right balance.
But, I’m working on it.
You know, one day at a time.
