I started the Simple Habits course by Matt D’Avella.Matt recently launched a platform called Slow Growth Academy where he programs for self-development, filmmaking and creativity.
His first course is called Simple Habits.
While struggling with separation and creating a new routines during the pandemic, I found myself having a hard time blogging.
I absolutely love writing and it was tough not being able to have the mindset to write more consistently.
In the past month, I’ve found myself getting more into a rhythm with my posting schedule [which side note is Wednesdays and Saturday mornings].
When I saw he released the course on building habits, I knew I had to try it.
I’m a few lessons in and it feels good to really sit down and work on building better habits with blogging.
While I am currently going through this course focusing on blogging, I also want to get better with setting time aside to read most nights.
There is an exercise in the course that asks “what your ideal day looks like.” I chose to plan it in three categories: morning, afternoon and evening.
For the evening, I put “read for 20 minutes or one chapter.”
It may seem simple, but sometimes I find it’s the easiest thing that can be the hardest to set your mind to do.

Also feel free to leave a comment below (or email me at SabrinaCL88@Gmail.com) if you have any questions on the course.
Have a great week y’all!
