It’s been over a week since I last posted.

There has been so much going on in the world, it caused me to reflect on all the discrimination I have faced since going to college in a predominantly white area and moving to New England.

I started spiraling into a bit of depression.

I went to college in Vermont from 2006 to 2010. Then I officially moved to Massachusetts in 2012 until I moved to New Hampshire in 2018. Over the years, the discrimination I’ve faced, has lessened. But it’s things I didn’t want to be reminded of; I just buried them away.

Seeing so many posts and videos on #blacklivesmatter brought back some bad memories of my past. I just had to get off of social media all together.

I will not go into detail on those memories nor my political opinions.cpw7e9wweaehwkl I just wanted to share this; racism exists and needs to end now.

I will just leave it at that.

(I’ll be going back to my regular posting schedule of Wednesdays and Saturdays NEXT week)

  1. We are coming into winter here in South Africa and it’s getting harder to get up early for exercise. I’m trying to see if I can move my sessions to the afternoon rather. Stay strong! We are all in this together.
