Can’t believe we are almost midway through January!
I love when it turns a “new year;” it’s a chance for a fresh start! Now there are a few things I have in mind that I want to accomplish or work towards this year. This isn’t to say that I wasn’t working on it before, but I want to work even harder.Blog Weekly: I absolutely love blogging, it’s one of my favorite hobbies. There was a time when my blog was NutritiouslySweet.com and I used to blog 2-3 times a week.
Between #momlife, work and just not baking anymore as I used to, that was the reason for changing my blog in the first place. I want to make sure I dedicate time to more mommy, life, and fitness post for y’all!Career Growth: I’ve been working part-time since I was about 18 weeks pregnant with the twins. When it was just the toddler, I was working close to full-time.
This year I want to try to add at least a couple of classes and two clients to my weekly work schedule.Remove Two Bills: We have tons of bills [as do most people right?]. But this year I was to work on getting rid of two bills. I have a few in mind that might fit to get rid of this year but I am just picking two to make it “less pressure.”
Our ultimate goal is to get out of debt within the next five years [just going by our current incomes, which should grow for sure in the future].Monthly Activities for Twins: The twins [aka second child syndrome] haven’t really been exposed to “classes.” Sammy was going to classes since she was six months old. The twins are 13 months now and I want to get them started in either a music class or other activity at least twice a month.
Grow Savings: We want to grow our savings this year. Last year was a rough year for us financially since we bought the house. But this year is looking brighter so I am excited to start saving and cutting unnecessary spends and adjust our budget.
Focus More on ME: I started working on this a few months ago. I’ve been focusing on doing things that make me happy and feel good. My fitness routine is finally back on track. I am making sure I “put myself together” and feel my best, as well as reading more books.
Even just dedicating that one hour to myself each day has been making a huge difference in how I approach “life” on all accounts. Those are the five main things I want to focus on this year/ grow. It’s not to say there aren’t other things (like more day trips, museum visits, etc.) but these are my top priority to keep in mind each day. ❤
What are some of your goals for this year?
